“My name is Jacinta Wambui.I got sick a couple of years ago. I have problems with my joints such that I cannot do anything, a simple task as washing my own clothes has become futile because anytime I try to do laundry or gardening, my arms swell from the elbows down, sometimes I can hardly walk and even when I do, my legs fail fall and I fall to the ground. I cannot cook my own food or do any kind of work whatsoever, My granddaughter takes care of me but she’s not always available as she is young and has kids of her own to fend for. We rely on the little we get from the farm. Due to the high standard of living, lack funds and my unstable state of health, I am appealing for financial and material support from well-wishers, Organizations and the government to help me meet my daily basic needs and medical bills so that I can also permit my granddaughter to go back to her young family.”
